OUR STORY

Canyon Productions is a film production company founded in 2021. We believe that faith-based media is a means to encourage and uplift others and can be used to inspire people in their spiritual journey. Our shows tell stories of hope, redemption, and perseverance through relatable characters who must exercise faith in the face of difficult challenges. By showcasing the struggles and triumphs of these characters, we strive to encourage viewers to reflect on their own lives and strengthen their own beliefs.

MEET THE TEAM

SHAWN BOSKIE

Founder & CEO

Shawn Boskie is the founder and CEO of Canyon Productions. His wide range of entrepreneurial experience in business, film finance, and the non-profit sector has shaped his vision of bringing higher-quality faith films and television shows to audiences around the globe.

Previously he served as Head of Investor Relations for Pure Flix Entertainment and his effective fundraising garnered more than $150M of investment capital to produce and distribute fifteen theatrical films and launch the Pure Flix streaming platform.

Anna Leigh Shaw

Production Associate

Anna has been with Canyon Productions since 2022 and works closely with the partnering producers and filmmakers. She assists in the development and production of the projects. Anna graduated from Grand Canyon University with a Bachelor’s in Digital Film Production and is currently working on receiving her Masters in Business Administration. She values her faith and walk with Christ and hopes to create an impact on the entertainment industry to share God’s love and forgiveness.

Logan Plooster

Program Operations & Creative Solutions

Logan has been with Canyon Productions since its launch in 2021, playing a key role in bringing each title to the Pure Flix platform. Working closely with Shawn, he ensures each project is delivered seamlessly while managing and streamlining content delivery for Pinnacle Peak Pictures’ international sales. Logan actively researches and tests the latest AI software to improve workflows and lower production costs. He also aids with marketing asset creation, helping the team stay ahead in a rapidly evolving industry. With a degree in Digital Film Production, he aims to one day work as a cinematographer in the faith film space, while faithfully serving wherever God leads him today.

Madalen Zachry

Social Media Manager

Madalen works with Shawn Boskie at both Canyon Productions and Pinnacle Peak Pictures (formerly Pure Flix Entertainment). She helps with website content, social media, and office administration. Madalen is currently earning a Master of Business Administration at Grand Canyon University, and she views the film industry as an incredible opportunity to build faith through storytelling.
