OUR STORY

Canyon Productions is a film production company founded in 2021. We believe that faith-based media is a means to encourage and uplift others and can be used to inspire people in their spiritual journey. Our shows tell stories of hope, redemption, and perseverance through relatable characters who must exercise faith in the face of difficult challenges. By showcasing the struggles and triumphs of these characters, we strive to encourage viewers to reflect on their own lives and strengthen their own beliefs.

MEET THE TEAM

SHAWN BOSKIE

Founder & CEO

Shawn Boskie is the founder and CEO of Canyon Productions. His wide range of entrepreneurial experience in business, film finance, and the non-profit sector has shaped his vision of bringing higher-quality faith films and television shows to audiences around the globe.

Previously he served as Head of Investor Relations for Pure Flix Entertainment and his effective fundraising garnered more than $150M of investment capital to produce and distribute fifteen theatrical films and launch the Pure Flix streaming platform.

Anna Leigh Shaw

Production Associate

Anna has been with Canyon Productions since 2022 and works closely with the partnering producers and filmmakers. She assists in the development and production of the projects. Anna graduated from Grand Canyon University with a Bachelor’s in Digital Film Production and is currently working on receiving her Masters in Business Administration. She values her faith and walk with Christ and hopes to create an impact on the entertainment industry to share God’s love and forgiveness.

Logan Plooster

Program Operations Specialist

Logan has been around since the beginning of Canyon Productions’ launch in 2021 and has been helping with bringing hit titles such as ‘Saved By Grace’, ‘An Unlikely Angel’, and ‘Heaven Sent’ to the Pure Flix platform. He works closely with Shawn and is responsible for ensuring Canyon’s titles are delivered properly. He also manages, organizes, and provides valuable insights into the content delivery processes with Pinnacle Peak Pictures’ international sales. With a degree in Digital Film Production, Logan hopes to one day help make some movies in the faith space by working as a cinematographer.

Madalen Zachry

Social Media Manager & Administrative Assistant

Madalen works with Shawn Boskie at both Canyon Productions and Pinnacle Peak Pictures (formerly Pure Flix Entertainment). She is organizes appointments with filmmakers, creates website content, manages the company’s social media, and assists in both pre-production and post-production. As a business student at Grand Canyon University, Madalen strives to use her love of entrepreneurship and film to glorify God. She views the film industry as an incredibly opportunity to build people’s faith through storytelling.
